Wafer Works recruits staff in accordance with the Company's operational strategies and annual human resources objectives. This approach includes adhering to local laws on salaries and fostering diversity and inclusion in hiring practices. We also align with various human resources initiatives by local governments, prioritizing the employment of local residents and implementing other measures to increase local job opportunities. Additionally, we actively recruit talent from various sectors through channels such as job banks, campus recruitment, industryacademia collaboration, R&D substitute military service, job fairs, and job matching services. This promotes the utilization of industry-academia talents, strengthens Wafer Works' R&D capabilities, and enhances the professional development opportunities for doctoral talents in academic fields, thereby creating effective training outcomes for high-level talents.

  1. Collaborating with the National Science and Technology Council to sponsor doctoral students in the fields of gallium nitride (GaN) and insulated gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) research.
  2. Participating in the Ministry of the Interior's R&D Substitute Military Service program to cultivate high-quality research and development talents.
  3. Cooperating with the Taoyuan City Government to promote the "Taoyuan Youth Employment Incentive Program."

We explicitly forbid the use of child labor to ensure that no child workers below the legal minimum employment age are hired and that the health and safety of underage employees are safeguarded, with dangerous work being strictly prohibited. Additionally, we require our suppliers to observe the Wafer Works Supplier Code of Conduct, which prohibits the use of child labor in any manufacturing processes. Should any instances of employing child labor be discovered, Wafer Works will render assistance and offer remedial measures.
