(Taoyuan, Taiwan, Apr. 3rd, 2024) A major earthquake with a magnitude of 7.2 struck off Taiwan’s eastern coast on Apr 3rd, 2024, leading to widespread disasters. The company’s Longtan facility was forced to suspend production. Personnels were all safely evacuated. Meanwhile, a taskforce was teamed up, based on BCP protocols, to inspect the facility and equipment. Operations were restored within 12 hours after the earthquake. The impact on Longtan facility is not severe, yet operations at the other sites are unaffected.
